Unit 4: TOYS
Hello boys and girls of 1st Primary!
You can review the clothes in unit 3 because I am going to ask you about them to assess you.
But in our lessons we are studying now the unit 4 about toys.
These are the toys in the book:

Hello students and families!
Here I am to say to you that we are studying now unit 4. In this unit we are going to learn some animals (farm animals), parts of the animals and the expression THERE ARE.
In unit 3 we have studied THERE IS and THERE ARE is the same but for the plural. In Spanish and Catalan we say the same: hay o hi ha, aquest és el significat de There is (there's) i There are but in English we use there is with 1 thing and there are with 2 or more things.
Examples:
There is a farm.- Hi ha una granja. There is a farmer.- Hi ha un granger/granjera.
There are two horses.- Hi ha dos cavalls. There are four sheep- Hi ha dues ovelles.
He posat les ovelles d'exemple perquè es diu igual en singular i en plural: 1 sheep, 2 sheep, 3 sheep...

I like reading.
We say what we like with the verb I like + the action-ing, és a dir li hem d'afegir aquesta terminació -ing al verb que diu allò que ens agrada.
Teacher Aina:
I like reading.
I like swimming.
I like listening to music.
I like dancing.
The same with what I DON'T LIKE:
I don't like playing football.
I don't like skating.
I don't like juggling
